Dear Stedman,
Dick tells me to send you
the enclosed, and to add that
he is tearing his hair with grief-
he is comital to see Edgar Saltus
praise Edgar [?] and Edgar
[?] praise Edgar Saltus.
I can't tell you how happy
[ ?]is. it makes me afraid -
he is very busy, yesterday a
California manager came here
and was closeted with him -
he has had another application
for [?] from England
and it looks as if he were really
on the road. As for me I have
had a fine spell, final a
dreadful cold, when that
inter-costal neuralgia - fine
isn't it. It would be good
to see you - and to find
you well and [?]
